The Life of a Maus

            The book that I started reading is called Maus by Art Spiegelman. This book talks about the author as he was in part of the war back then in the 1900's. He was Jewish like many others. Nazi's where killing millions of Jews. this took part back then in World War 2. He was one of the few survivors who escaped through out the war. He was one of the lucky ones who the Nazi's didn't capture and kill. He wrote this about this too show what happened to millions of Jews in the war and what happened to him. Many Jews would be proud of Spiegelman for writing a story about what happened to him and all the Jewish people that died.
              In this book he wrote about himself in it. He made himself into a mouse and all his Jewish friends. He made the Nazi's people  pigs which demonstrated what they really were. This book reminded me of n article i read that had to do a lot with this book. They both had the event of the holocaust which was a bad time where all the Jewish people were punished but as well killed. the Nazi' people didn't only kill Jews but as well as homosexuals and others who weren't considered normal people. The two authors have a lot in common because they both could of been in the war where many Jews were killed. both might have written this book to show the terror of the Nazi's.

About The Holocaust

              The article that I read was about a dangerous time that affected many people. The most affected were the Jews. back in the 1940's Jews were treated like trash. This happened at the time where World War 2 began. The  people that attacked the Jew's were racist people known as the Nazi's. The Nazi's killed over 6 million Jew's because of their race. Even though the Jews were being killed, they weren't the only ones. Nazi's also persecuted homosexuals and other people who weren't like regular people. The main Nazi was Hitler who was like the leader of the Nazi's. Many Jews were being killed so German's build camps and different types of shelters to protect them during the war. But this didn't stop the Nazi's from attacking them.                                                                        
             In this article the author was trying to convey what the Holocaust was and what happened through it. He also wanted readers to know who were the victim's of the holocaust and the despicable people that killed them. These events were very important in history which was probably why this author wrote it. The author might have written this because he could of been one of the survivors in this war and wanted to write about it. This remained me of a book that I almost finished which was also about a Jew survivor that had also survived in the war. He wrote about this in a book called Maus. these two authors could really connect to the Jews that were killed our imprisoned through out this terrifying war.                                                                                                                        
              I could really not connect to this article because first of all I'm not Jewish or born in the early 19 hundreds like the people that were killed. I feel that no person should be killed because of their race or because their different. A question that i came up with after i read this poem was why attack Jewish people. All Jewish people didn't have to do anything in this war but they were killed in vain. After the war ended almost every Jewish person was devastated. Many Jew's moved away from their country and moved to the the U.S. Many Jewish people also went to Israel. In all of the wars that have occurred in history, to me the Jews have been punished most of all. Now Know one is killed because of their race or because their different, especially Jewish people who have suffered most of all.

The Death of a close friend

         The ending to this book Cirque Du Freak "The Vampire Prince" was very epic and disastrous for some people in the story. No one could have seen what happened at the ending of this book. The evil mastermind that was close to becoming the new vampire prince, that betrayed the whole vampire clang and joined the vampinize clang confessed himself of what he did. This was one of the most shocking moments in this whole book since no one would of guessed that the traitor would confess himself. Now something horrible awaited Kurda at the end of the story. I never thought that Kurda would confess himself so easily because his plan was going good in till Darren came.
        Last time while i was reading this some of Kurda's bodyguards came in to protect him but he said that he didn't need anything so they killed themselves. Right after that one of the vampire princes asked Kurda what he was plotting. At first he didn't respond but then he said that the evil vampinize were coming to Vampire Mountain and were going to attack. The Princes were outraged of what Kurda had been plotting so they sent him to immediately Termination. Darren was proud of what he accomplished and saved Vampire Mountain from a huge attack, but not fully. Darren went back to his room after this so that the Princes would decide what will happen to Darren. Darren later confronted the vampires to discuss of a plan to stop the vampinize from getting inside the halls. Darren thought of a plan that had to do with spiders. The princes went along with it. Many of the cave spiders in Vampire Mountain attacked the vampinize which distracted them so that the vampires would deliver a sneak attack. The vampires managed to defeat the all the vampinize but one of Darren's closest friend Ara died by a stab in the stomach.
          The Vampires managed to defeat the vampinize in this battle due to the idea of Darren. Ara never made it from her injuries and was going to be cremated with Gavner. And for Kurda, he was sent to the hall of death to die in millions of needled for betraying the vampire clan. Darren was asked to go to the hall of princes one more time to accept his fate. The princes eyed Darren in a serious way. The young vampire was expecting death but of what he did to protect many vampires from dying he was rewarded. His teacher could not believe what the princes said to Darren. Spoiler Alert: Darren was announced to be a VAMPIRE PRINCE. Darren was in shock and so was eye because like Mr.Crepsley said "He is just a boy, he is not ready for such big duties" The young boy that was living a normal life is now becoming a vampire prince that everyone respected.

The Love of Romeo and Juliet

      The movie that I saw in class was the old tale Romeo and Juliet made in a present tense version. Before I saw it I have never even read or seen a movie about Romeo and Juliet. But when i saw the movie i really liked it because it wasn't old or said in words that i couldn't understand. I thought that it was going to be Romeo and Juliet talking in an old fashion voice but they talked just like us. I'm going to tell you some reasons why i started to like Romeo and Juliet.                                                                                       
    The movie that i saw in class was very different from the Romeo and Juliet that i heard about. The thing that I liked about this movie was that it wasn't boring like the old movies that I heard about but insted it was about young teenagers acting like themselfs. Also i like how Romeo and Juliet try to escape on an exculator by not getting caught by Juliets Mom. One of the best things I liked about the movie was the action scenes.  The action scences for me were intense and very cool. The best action scene for me is when Romeo avenges
his friend and kills the guy that killed his best friend.                                                                                     
       These were many reasons why I liked this movie but the most important thing about this movie wass the theme. The theme to me for this movie was that sometimes people would do anything for love. Romeo and   Juliet really liked each other in this movie so they would sneak out and meet each others many times.             Something that stood out to me was the color of the movie. But not just the movie but the color of the           people's cloths and dresses of the party in Juliets house. There were many cloths that shined in the moonlight which was very interesting to me. The last thing that I wonderd was that the weather would change when
things got good or when things got bad.
     

Finding the right person

        Last time while I read the cirque du freak series, the young vampire named Darren has faced hell. Now in this book vol. 6 he has somehow lived falling down the rushing waterfall that he thought he would die going down from. He was very lucky not to die. He reached the bottom and is very cold and injured. He might of lived but he's still very injured from falling down the waterfall and the trails of death he recently faced. Now he's alone and away from Kurda, a young vampire he used to call his friend now his worst nightmare. Darren has to sneak back to vampire mountain without nobody noticing or else Kurda might kill him. Can he do it......
      The main character has never faced anything like this since he had turned into a vampire. He walked on the cold snow rapped in tape freezing to death. He walked and walked but he believed he wouldn't make it, until he fell on the cold floor. As he fell he saw a shadow of a hungry wolf. It came closer and closer in till it licked the young vampire. I thought that the wolf was gonna eat him because Darren looked very week and defenseless and it looked like he wasn't gonna make it. When Darren looked up he saw it was his young pup Rudi and his other wolf friends. Darren hugged Rudi as he licked his face. That gave Darren the energy to go on the vampire mountain. He walked a little more after that and he fell asleep in the middle of a few wolfs. The next morning he had the energy to eat and drink and make it to Vampire mountain and find someone that would believe him and help stop Kurda from helping the horrible vampires the vampinez from invading Vampire mountain.
      Ina few day's he made it secretly threw a cave where a wolf guided him and left. He quietly went inside and went to look for someone that would help him expose who Kurda really is. If i was Darren i would not do this because i could die by Kurda's army of vampineze with other vampire friends. The person that Darren choose to help him was his teacher's teacher. When Seba the teacher saw him come he was surprised that he was alive. Darren told Seba all of what has happen to Gavner and Kurda. Seba was shocked but he believed him. Seba said that he would help him. He and Darren walked in the hall of princes and everybody stared at him. Kurda saw him and some of his friends guarded him. I infer that Darren will get killed with some of his friends because he spoiled Kurda's plans.

LIFE Dosen't Frighten Me At All.

     The Photo that is shown on the right is the cover of a book that was like a poem that i really enjoyed that was written by Maya Angelou .It was about the author talking about things that they said wasn't scared or frighten of. The thing that i liked about this poem was that the author used many pictures to show the things that the the author said. Also I liked that the author gave many examples of what she/he wasn't "afraid of". I will tell you what i think of the author and if i think that the author isn't actually scared at all.
     When i read this book/poem i read a lot of things that the author said wasn't afraid of. But in reality I think the author is trying to say that she/he is scared of many things and is writing some of the things that she's actually scared of in this book. Some of the things i read that she said "Doesn't frighten me at all" was the dark, people fighting, dragons which is the one in this picture, big animals, and many more stuff. I believe that the author is scared because i believe that the author is explaining things in this poem that she really is scared of and trying to tell the world but says "Life doesn't frighten me at all". This is some of the many things why I think she's trying to express that she actually afraid of many things but can't say it but can write it in a way that people think that she's not afraid of.
     I connect to this poem because there are many things that im afraid of but never have the courage to tell anybody like i think the author is also trying to say. I also think this author's poem connect's to everyone else in this world because everybody's scared of somehting and never really express it like I think the author did in this poem. The main reason why I liked this poem was that it really spoke out to me and I think relates not just to me but everybody else thatis afraaid of something and never has the courage to tell anyone but could write about it like the aouthor did.

MY NOMINATION GOES TO........

       Gio because I like how he did a very good job on his blog post mostly how he described a character in to different ways. Also that he post at least 3 paragraphs which is very good. Also another thing i liked about his Blog Post is that he didn't retail like i used to do a lot which very important not to do a lot of in blog posts.  This was part of Gio's Blog post that i saw that i like out of the 3 I read today that liked,

    "Greg could have been the bad protagonist and he could have been the good protagonists but as a result Greg was the good protagonist that cared to change the life of a child who was poor. Now if Greg was the bad protagonist he would not care for these kids and he would have just said thank you for your help when he was there on the small village,"
 
        This was so far the best part of his blog that made me nominate him because on how he described this protagonist in a both positive and negative way. KEEP IT UP GIO!
