In this book that I'm reading there are two main characters. The book that I'm reading is called "To kill a mockingbird". To me this is one of the slowest pastest book I have ever read because they really don't talk about mockingbirds except once. I really don't know if this book is really how to kill a mockingbird or if someone in this book is suppose to be a mockingbird. The setting of this book is probably in the south because almost all the characters talk in a southern accent. So far the main characters haven't done anything interesting or dangerous that I really like to happen in books which makes get really board at some times.
"Shoot all the blue jays you want, if you can hit them, but remember its a sin to kill a mockingbird" This was a very important lesson that the main characters father told her brother Jem (This was said on page 103). When I read this I thought the book was going to get better and that the book was going to get more into killing mockingbirds but it was just a lesson about mockingbirds that so far I have read. Atticus, the father of the main character, said this to Jem because in the book Atticus neighbor explain that it's wrong to kill a mocking bird because the only thing that mockingbirds do is bring music into our hearts and do nothing bad which makes it a sin to kill a mockingbird. Before I read this book I never even knew that it was wrong to kill a mockingbird because I thought they were just normal birds but now I know that they are more then that. By the end of this book I wish to find what Harper Lee(author) meant by "To kill a mockingbird" because right now it's very confusing to understand what or who the mockingbird is.
In this book, the main character has a lots of protagonists that help her and influence her to do things. The person that helps and teaches her stuff is Atticus, her father. He also influences her to do things that help her learn things. One thing that Atticus influenced her to do with her brother is to live with a cranky old lady for a couple of days so that they could interact with her because they never had the best relationship and she would always insult her and Jem. At the end they became closer but unfortunately the old lady died. Her brother Jem is some what of a trouble maker. He influenced Her to be a look out when he wanted to leave a note to a horrible neighbor named Radley. Jem got really close to getting shot by a shotgun because he heard Jem coming to his backyard. The main character lucky escaped and so did Jem without getting unharmed. Atticus and Jem may both have different influences on her but she's still alright and living happily.
So far I could not relate to anybody in this book because no one really describes or relates to me in anyway. The main character and her protagonists do almost everyday things that normal kids do which really doesn't make me get interested to this book and gets me confused from time to time. There are only a couple of things that get me interested in this book and that's some of the crazy things that the main character and her family get trapped or get involved in. If it wasn't for this I probably wouldn't keep reading this book. This probably connects mostly to the world because there are some crazy things that happen to people these days which is sometimes very good or very bad.

The Solar System
The article that i read is a very important article. I read this article some time ago but i decided to read it again. this article is about new discoveries in our solar system. This article is about how scientists discovered a new planet. The new planet is very similar to many planets but also very different. This planet can be dangerous and both a good place to live. This discovery could be very interesting to people that love science or like to learn about planets.
The New planet is very big and very hot. The new planet can reach up to be 2,000 Fahrenheit. Because of the intense heat of this planet scientists can't really go up to space and go to the planet or they can die of the heat. Also the planet is 50 light years away. The main idea of this article was that theres more out there then just the 9 planets which is now 10. This is the main idea because the author gave this new planet as an example of many more things out there in space then just stars and sky which many people think is only up there. This wasn't the only new planet discovered but other two planets named Kepler-20e and Kepler-20f. Like the new planet these other planets are also very far away which is 1,000 light-years away

Life Doesn't frighten me
The poem that I read is called "life doesn't frighten me". This poem is about a person who said that he/she isn't afraid of many scary things. The poet gives many example of things that he/she is not afraid of. readers could think that the reader is trying to convince herself that she's not afraid of anything. Others readers may think that she really is scared and she saying things in this poem that she really is scared of. The thesis of this poem is that she she's really not scared of anything and she's talking about it in this poem. At the end of each stanza she said, "life doesn't frighten me at all" which gave me this idea.
This was a poem that i read a long time ago but I read again. The poet was trying in this poem that she isn't afraid of anything. She also used many things that happen in everyday life like, "Tough guys fight, All alone at night". The Life of Guy
The poem that I read is called Please "Don't take my Air Jordan's" by Regie Gains. I read this poem some time ago. This poem was about a young man who's desperate on staying cool. The guy has no money but gets cool gear by through worst ways possible, stealing and killing. The thesis of this poem was that you shouldn't steal or kill for things because you might end up how this guy is living which nobody wants. Regie Gains wrote this poem to introduce what you shouldn't do and why the things this guy did in this poem is not right.
This thesis has everything to do with the main character. The main character seems to be living a sad life because in the poem he said, "and i gots no job no money at all". The main character seems to really care about his reputation in school because he''s always getting new gear. he has no money so he has to steal his gear. He keeps stealing from the mall and never gets caught. Now the main character needs new gear but he can't steal because he said, "but security's tight at all the shops, everyday there are more and more cops". This meant that there are more police guarding the stores where he robs his clothes and shoes. I infer that the main character won't stop stealing because at the end of the story he was so desperate for shoes that he shot a gut and took his air Jordan's. The main character won't probably stop stealing in till he gets caught shop lifting and goes to prison for a long time.
This poem can really relate to many people that lost their ways in life. Not many people live like the main character of this poem but some do live a similar way. A person can become like this main character by not being loved or not having someone to take care of them like parents. People like this aren't really happy with there lives and live with gangs or the streets. There are many people in this world that live like this and aren't loved or doesn't have a choice. I believe that people should not live a life of crime because it isn't right and it's not a way of life. People like this should change really find help and change their way of life so they can live a good and happy life which is what almost everyone wants.

The Life of a Maus
The book that I started reading is called Maus by Art Spiegelman. This book talks about the author as he was in part of the war back then in the 1900's. He was Jewish like many others. Nazi's where killing millions of Jews. this took part back then in World War 2. He was one of the few survivors who escaped through out the war. He was one of the lucky ones who the Nazi's didn't capture and kill. He wrote this about this too show what happened to millions of Jews in the war and what happened to him. Many Jews would be proud of Spiegelman for writing a story about what happened to him and all the Jewish people that died.
In this book he wrote about himself in it. He made himself into a mouse and all his Jewish friends. He made the Nazi's people pigs which demonstrated what they really were. This book reminded me of n article i read that had to do a lot with this book. They both had the event of the holocaust which was a bad time where all the Jewish people were punished but as well killed. the Nazi' people didn't only kill Jews but as well as homosexuals and others who weren't considered normal people. The two authors have a lot in common because they both could of been in the war where many Jews were killed. both might have written this book to show the terror of the Nazi's.

About The Holocaust
The article that I read was about a dangerous time that affected many people. The most affected were the Jews. back in the 1940's Jews were treated like trash. This happened at the time where World War 2 began. The people that attacked the Jew's were racist people known as the Nazi's. The Nazi's killed over 6 million Jew's because of their race. Even though the Jews were being killed, they weren't the only ones. Nazi's also persecuted homosexuals and other people who weren't like regular people. The main Nazi was Hitler who was like the leader of the Nazi's. Many Jews were being killed so German's build camps and different types of shelters to protect them during the war. But this didn't stop the Nazi's from attacking them.
In this article the author was trying to convey what the Holocaust was and what happened through it. He also wanted readers to know who were the victim's of the holocaust and the despicable people that killed them. These events were very important in history which was probably why this author wrote it. The author might have written this because he could of been one of the survivors in this war and wanted to write about it. This remained me of a book that I almost finished which was also about a Jew survivor that had also survived in the war. He wrote about this in a book called Maus. these two authors could really connect to the Jews that were killed our imprisoned through out this terrifying war.
I could really not connect to this article because first of all I'm not Jewish or born in the early 19 hundreds like the people that were killed. I feel that no person should be killed because of their race or because their different. A question that i came up with after i read this poem was why attack Jewish people. All Jewish people didn't have to do anything in this war but they were killed in vain. After the war ended almost every Jewish person was devastated. Many Jew's moved away from their country and moved to the the U.S. Many Jewish people also went to Israel. In all of the wars that have occurred in history, to me the Jews have been punished most of all. Now Know one is killed because of their race or because their different, especially Jewish people who have suffered most of all.

The Death of a close friend
The ending to this book Cirque Du Freak "The Vampire Prince" was very epic and disastrous for some people in the story. No one could have seen what happened at the ending of this book. The evil mastermind that was close to becoming the new vampire prince, that betrayed the whole vampire clang and joined the vampinize clang confessed himself of what he did. This was one of the most shocking moments in this whole book since no one would of guessed that the traitor would confess himself. Now something horrible awaited Kurda at the end of the story. I never thought that Kurda would confess himself so easily because his plan was going good in till Darren came.
Last time while i was reading this some of Kurda's bodyguards came in to protect him but he said that he didn't need anything so they killed themselves. Right after that one of the vampire princes asked Kurda what he was plotting. At first he didn't respond but then he said that the evil vampinize were coming toVampire Mountain Vampire Mountain Vampire Mountain
The Vampires managed to defeat the vampinize in this battle due to the idea of Darren. Ara never made it from her injuries and was going to be cremated with Gavner. And for Kurda, he was sent to the hall of death to die in millions of needled for betraying the vampire clan. Darren was asked to go to the hall of princes one more time to accept his fate. The princes eyed Darren in a serious way. The young vampire was expecting death but of what he did to protect many vampires from dying he was rewarded. His teacher could not believe what the princes said to Darren. Spoiler Alert: Darren was announced to be a VAMPIRE PRINCE. Darren was in shock and so was eye because like Mr.Crepsley said "He is just a boy, he is not ready for such big duties" The young boy that was living a normal life is now becoming a vampire prince that everyone respected.
